Markovina Estate and their entire team are truly exceptional. We held our wedding here in January 2026, and from start to finish, the experience was nothing short of magical. We genuinely cannot believe how incredible everything was. The staff and service were absolutely second to none. We have had countless messages from our guests specifically asking us to leave a review and pass on how outstanding the staff were, and how well looked after everyone felt throughout the entire day and night. We worked closely with Katrina, who was amazing from the very first meeting, and every single staff member we encountered — both along the way and on the night — matched that same level of warmth, professionalism, and care. The grounds were immaculate and breathtaking. Our photos look incredible, and our guests were genuinely in awe of how stunning the venue was. And the food… oh my goodness. Our guests cannot stop talking about it — hands down the best food many have ever had at a wedding. There was so much food, nothing ever ran out, and all dietary requirements were catered for beautifully. The dietary meals were just as impressive as everything else. The drinks package was also fantastic and made the entire experience seamless and stress-free for both us and our guests. Markovina were also incredibly accommodating with some more “out-of-the-box” ideas — including allowing us to bring in a large stage for our live band, even though it temporarily blocked an entrance. On the night, it worked perfectly and elevated the entire atmosphere. Their recommended vendor list is outstanding as well — every vendor we booked through their recommendations was equally amazing, which made planning so much easier. At the end of the night, the staff packed down a large portion of our décor, and everything was ready for collection the following morning — an incredible service that we were so grateful for. Our guests were having such a great time that they didn’t want to leave, and the team even allowed us to extend the music slightly while they packed down, which was so appreciated. We first visited Markovina at the start of the year while searching for a venue to get married at, and after about a minute, it was a no brainer for us. This venue is AMAZING; with breathtaking scenery across each landscape. The staff were absolutely incredible! We worked with Mark and Katrina who were excellent in helping us get through all the logistics, and then on our actual wedding day, Alex and his team (Adam, Zara, Jonathan, Rebecca, Mia and others) were just so incredibly caring, helpful patient and considerate in providing the best service while a lot was going on throughout our day. We really felt that the team at Markovina went above and beyond to provide me and my wife, and our family, the best service possible during our wedding day. I would whole heartedly recommend that anyone stop by and consider working with them in the future to bring your special events to life.

Gracious, elegant, kind, and warm! Markovina is the number 1 venue of weddings for a reason. From the beginning of our experience with Lachlan and his welcoming aura, to dealing and catering for a large family visit multiple times. Markovina was absolutely incredible. Mark & Katrina from our initial meeting to lock in dates were so kind and generous. Offering nibbles and bites for my family to enjoy. It was such a stress free planning process. Now I must give biggest props to beautiful Katrina & incredible Rachel in admin. These two ladies and their communication and kindness of answering all my questions with such grace and humility was beautiful. Katrina went above and beyond, and Rachel was incredibly warm in her communication. Her emails was always a highlight to receive. Coming to the wedding day, my family were blessed to be escorted inside by Rina Markovina. Wonderful Boss lady, that was incredibly welcoming and ushering us in. Offering us bubbles, and honestly treating us like royalty on our special day. My family respected her grace and presence so much. What an incredible woman. Then gorgeous Anna Sanchez our superstar Event Manager! Wow she made the whole day go so easy. She even remembered to feed the bride and groom, when we forgot to eat. Anna was such a ray of sunshine and everyone who works at Markovina was incredible. As an Island family, we are hard critics for food, but my family enjoyed it! We had our elders and aunties on their Facebook Lives just sharing how incredible the food was. The drinks were phenomenal! The Cocktails out of this world. There is not a day or time that I will ever regret hosting our wedding at Markovina. They are phenomenal hosts truly accustomed to catering for all cultures, especially our vibrant Pacific cultures. It was honestly a massive Fia Fia night during our wedding. For those reading, thinking is it worth it? For us, yes I would do it again if I could - and relive those wonderful memories. From the moment we began planning our wedding, Markovina Vineyard Estate made everything so easy and stress-free. Kat was there to hold our hand through every step, making sure nothing was overlooked. On the wedding day, she was right there making sure everything was perfect before the ceremony, which gave us so much peace of mind. The team at Markovina is incredible. The staff were attentive and friendly, and even the owner, Rina, took the time to drop by while we were decorating, helping with final touches. They made us feel like family and made the whole day run so smoothly. Every moment, from the ceremony to the reception, felt magical and unforgettable. The food was absolutely amazing, from the ceremony canapés to dessert, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. Markovina has rightfully earned its awards for best wedding venue, and they truly live up to them. We will never stop sharing our experience with friends and family.

5 Jan 2026 our Grand niece was married at the Estate. What a beautiful venue for our wedding. The service, waiters, waitresses and bar service was excellent. The food was a mix of cultures both Samoan and Māori was delicious. Highly recommend a wedding at this venue. Ample parking as well.
